Well, Grandma flew in from New York yesterday, and we spent the last half of the day "hovering" around the airport, because her bag was left in Baltimore, and they were gonna ship it Fed Ex on Friday, but we're supposed to have bad weather then, and if we waited a few hours for a certain flight we could pick-up the bag and get a hundred dollar travel voucher, plus Grandma didn't really want to live in the clothes she had on for three days.
Yes. It's only a little less exhausting to type. And incredibly "ungrammatical" at that. :)
So, that was very tiring, but Grandma was worth it.
We're gonna be doing some fun stuff, so I'll probably post some pictures, finally....

What are you reading?
So, I was wondering what my readers were reading. Not blog-wise but an actual book. You know, that thing without a keyboard or mouse? :)
I'm reading Persuasion by Jane Austen for the first time, and I'm really enjoying it! So, what about you guys? Is it romance (not always a good idea :), adventure, history, or is it a better-yourself book? (most always a good idea :)
Just curious....

On that note...
Hello all!
I've just added a playlist simply because music is gorgeous, and I've been very blessed by it!! The songs on it either make me smile, cry, dance, or think. But they all inspire me in some little way. Music is a favorite of mine. I couldn't live without it!!
So look through and listen and see if you share a favorite with me, okay?
Bye!!

Pew Pew!!
Today my cousin Abe had his birthday. Yesterday he had his party, where we all had a truck load of fun playing laser tag!! Now some of you know just how much I like laser tag, but others may not. Either way, you all have to know just how much more fun it is when Daniel's on your team!!
See, you can be on the blue team as Disney characters or on the red team as super heros. Yeah. That's what I said. Of course super heros! So, we get into the room where you "suit up" and it only then hits me that these vests are gonna be way heavy on Daniel! So I look at him and tell him, and of course he's upset. I tell him he can just run with me, but he wants his own. So, near the time we're supposed to go in I look at the vest and think, okay we'll try. But no, he's changed his mind. The thinking of a three year old. Gotta love it!
I don the vest and look at the screen and see I'm Batman. Needless to say, Daniel was Robin. I've never had so much fun playing that game as I did with him. I would take turns with the gun, and then he'd have a turn, and we'd both run around avoiding or shooting the "bad guys."
And the Dynamic Duo saves the day!!!

Finally...
Well, I am finally getting around to posting on recieving my award! Thank you Arianna! It really was very sweet, and I was very surprised and pleased! The Excellence in Blogcasting award. Isn't it pretty?
So, I now give it to....drumroll, please!
My dear, dear friend Ciera at www.house-of-mercy.blogspot.com!! She should recieve this award, because of this simple fact. Everyone of her posts deserves to be posted. She has used her blog to glorify the Lord with her words.
Love you Ciera!

Busy, busy
Oh my, we've been busy!! This last week had my life devoted to our office, a.k.a, the crazy room.
Is it possible to have so much stuff in one room?
Yes. Yes, it is.
Now this is such a task that I've taken "before" pictures, and I will try and post them when I am thoroughly done!
And of course there was the joy of Daddy and Kyle coming home on Tuesday! They had been in Indianna for the Men's Leadership Summit, and checking out the area for a possible future home. But we were so glad when they returned after a whole long week!!
And let me tell you how much fun it was to see my brothers "united" after that trip! Thank the Lord for brotherly love and how He chooses to show it! They were so, so silly and they were wrestling and tickling and laughing and "fighting." A 13 year old and a 3 year old showing how much they missed eachother, by just being brothers. They truly are gifts from above.
So that was really our week in a nutshell. Cleaning and missing "our men" dearly! I'll post later after I've finished.... you guessed it!
Cleaning!
