Summer's a-coming!

Do you know what? I love it when the Lord blesses us with sun. Oh, I love the warmth, and the beautiful approach of summer!! A sign of summer? I have one. When 3 families drop by while they're riding their bikes or dropping something off or picking something up, and instead of leaving, they stay for a few hours just talking, having popsicles, and drinking lemonade.

Summer, I am so ready for you!

Snow pictures!

Here are some of the pictures I took in the snow.
- our backyard
- my name in print, because cursive in the snow is incredulous!
- me, being....me :)
- and a heart, but I'm sure you guessed that
Well....that's all!

Friday

And so we stayed in the house and watched movies and such, because it was too cold and wet to go sledding.
We watched Cinderella and Speed Racer. Yes. We are a varied group.
But then I just had to go outside and take some pictures, cause it was snowing...peacefully, I would say. Not blowing or windy. The snow was just.... falling.
I'll post 'em in a bit.

Grammy's here..

Well, Grandma flew in from New York yesterday, and we spent the last half of the day "hovering" around the airport, because her bag was left in Baltimore, and they were gonna ship it Fed Ex on Friday, but we're supposed to have bad weather then, and if we waited a few hours for a certain flight we could pick-up the bag and get a hundred dollar travel voucher, plus Grandma didn't really want to live in the clothes she had on for three days.

Yes. It's only a little less exhausting to type. And incredibly "ungrammatical" at that. :)

So, that was very tiring, but Grandma was worth it.

We're gonna be doing some fun stuff, so I'll probably post some pictures, finally....

What are you reading?

So, I was wondering what my readers were reading. Not blog-wise but an actual book. You know, that thing without a keyboard or mouse? :)

I'm reading Persuasion by Jane Austen for the first time, and I'm really enjoying it! So, what about you guys? Is it romance (not always a good idea :), adventure, history, or is it a better-yourself book? (most always a good idea :)

Just curious....
