What are you reading?

So, I was wondering what my readers were reading. Not blog-wise but an actual book. You know, that thing without a keyboard or mouse? :)

I'm reading Persuasion by Jane Austen for the first time, and I'm really enjoying it! So, what about you guys? Is it romance (not always a good idea :), adventure, history, or is it a better-yourself book? (most always a good idea :)

Just curious....

Rachel,

Here I am again, to torment you with one more of my "thoughts". :) Well, let's see what we are reading:

I am in the middle of "The Hobbit", "The Silmarillion (quite boring, and I wouldn't recommend it)", and Daddy is reading "The Pathfinder" to us. of course I'm reading the Bible, and am in the middle of Psalms, almost to Proverbs. Well, there's my whole life, and hope you enjoyed reading about it. :)

We are also reading:
The Psalms
Lad, a Dog
The Silver Chair
The Secret Garden
The Little Princess
Journey to the Center of the Earth
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
So Much More
Raising Maidens of virtue (again)
Daughters of Destiny (again)

...And I suppose that's enough to start you off.

I just got done reading a ton of books like Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin, Facing Your Giants by Max Lucado, and A Young Woman's Call to Prayer by Elizabeth George. But right now, I'm just reading Esther and Proverbs, The Hiding Place, The Autobiography of George Muller, and a nonfiction book on writing. That's it! ;)
